2008 Autism Awareness Walk

The 2008 ND Autism Connection walk was a huge success! The walk raised over $18,000 to help families in our community.

The walk kicked off at 10 am with opening ceremonies presented by the ND Autism Connection executive committee, presentation of the flags by the color guard and a beautiful rendition of the national anthem by a BHS choir student.

About ND Autism Connection

The ND Autism Connection is a Bismarck based non-profit organization. The purpose of the Organization falls under three main categories.

The first is to promote community awareness and education, this includes speaking for schools and organizations,
booths at community events, and hosting awareness events.

The second is to provide support and networking to families affected by autism. Connecting families who share the
common bond of a loved one with autism is one of the
greatest resources offered.

The third is fund raising, to provide grants and money for research, families in need, and facilities dedicated to healing those with autism.

Most of the money raised by ND Autism Connection stays right here in our state.
