Now it’s time to gather your friends and family to gain support for Autism Awareness and the North Dakota Autism Connection. This page will have all the helpful information that you need, as well as materials, to be successful!
Collecting donations for the Autism Awareness Walk is EASY. Follow our 3 step process listed below. We ask that each team try and collect at least $100 in donations.
…And hey! We understand that collecting money can be hard. Please be assured that we will not turn away anyone who can not collect the suggested donation. There will be prizes awarded to the top teams who can raise the MOST money for this GREAT cause.
Step 1: Please print out the following documents (click on the title to be directed to the document)
- NDAC-9th-Annual-Pledge-Sheet (you will need 1 sheet PER walker on your team)
- Please note: This PDF can be cut out into 10 “business size cards” that can be handed out to people who would like to donate with their Credit or Debit card. All donations made on our webpage will be credited to your total donations collected. All transactions are secure through PayPal.
Step 2: Get out and start raising money! Collect some basic information from all donors (neighbors, friends, families, people you know) and indicate the amount of their donation. Please also indicate what form they are donating (cash, check, or online donation through PayPal). If making donations online, direct them to our donation link and make sure they include your team name so you get credit!
Please note: If donors pledge to make online donations, we will verify these funds on June 9th at 11:59pm (Central Time). Any online donations made after this time *may* not be added to your final total for Team Donations. We will make every effort to try and process these before the walk on June 11.
Step 3: Turn your form with monetary donations to your Team Captain by June 7th. Team Captains will turn in all of your team’s forms and donations to NDAC by Thursday, June 9th.
